We spent a really fun weekend with Lindsey, Tyler, Bailey, Kennedy and Tucker...
It was a way fun time... We went to the Demolition Derby Sat. night and laughed like crazy... We made some really yummy Chicken Taco Rolls and enjoyed Sacrament Meeting with our sweet family. We love you and can't wait to see you again.... SOON!

Amanda made a big ol move... She is now in Murray, lots closer. Mama is happy bout that!
(wish Jess could be closer!)

Our love and prayers go out to our many friends in Auburn, CA that lost their homes in a fast moving fire on Sunday. Our hearts are broken and sad for the Hardman's, Jones, Wolfs and the rest. The Auburn 2nd ward was hit hard by all the loss. We are however thankful that the Johnson's home survived! God bless and be with each of you!

My goodness how time flies when really busy! My Dad has decided

to move the business to Lake Havasu, AZ. We have been

packing like made people. Looks like Vanessa will be

commuting for a while. (Crazy)

Regan and I found and signed up on Facebook...

We, well I am addicted :)

We have both been able to hook up with old

and dear friends.

I have been able to chat with people I grew up with

in Woodland Hills, CA, the ward I grew up in.

That would be approx. 100 years ago... (close)

And then also my friends in No. Calif.

I didnt realize how much I really missed them!

Update

Since my last post my dad and I went to Arizona, I drove he was in pain!

We have the LA Boat show the second week of Feb.

Boats have to be finished! No matter what apparently :}~

Dad had patterns to make, I helped as much as I could.

( got to see Amanda for a short HI) We got home Monday 1/12.

Dad is starting to feel better... Mind over matter!

On Thurs 1/15 Regan, my dad and I left again on a journey to Valencia, CA

and then to Lake Havasu, AZ

(dad did better NO pain meds in about 2 days!)

Dad did drive quite a bit this trip, I was so glad Regan was with us, 3 drivers

made the trip possible. My dad and mom came home Sunday 1/18...

Regan and I made it home Saturday night 1/17, (we saw Amanda,Lindsey, Tyler and the kids this trip!) (we wanted to go to church in our ward!)

Mom had been babysitting my sisters kids so Regan and I drove her truck home

and she rode home with dad.

Dad has actually worked full days all this week. He is amazing!

Today about 3:30 my Dad left the shop to go get something to eat.

He went to the ARBY's just down the street.

Here's the sad part!

He got out of the truck and started walking in...

Fresh snow and a sheet of ice under the snow, and my poor Dad lost it!

(you have to understand, my dad has reflexes like a cat)

He didn't even know he was going down until he heard the cracking

and felt his head hit.

IHC really couldn't find anything wrong, they assumed he cracked a rib,

the X-ray didn't show a break.

He went home and could barely move.

My parents Home Teacher came to give him a blessing and

as luck has it his name is DR. Gibby and he owns

Riverwoods Imaging.

Dr. Gibby told my dad that this is more than a cracked rib,

he thought he had crushed his spine!

On Tuesday after a 3 hr MRI, the diagnosis is in..

My Dad cracked 4 vertebra, and herniated 5 discs.

6 t0 8 weeks recovery...

(So not my dad, he's sure he can heal in 1 week)

He is in SO much pain, It breaks my heart!

I LOVE YOU DAD,

I hope you feel better soon.

TWILIGHT

So...
I've been telling myself for weeks that I didn't have to see Twilight the day it comes out ...(apparently some people's sister-in-law got to see it before the day it comes out!) LUCKY Elisa!
Well last night my phone rang and when I answered it my FRIEND Jan was on the other end and calling to ask if I wanted to go to TWILIGHT with her on friday, (the day it comes out) only problem was that the tickets she had in hand were for 4:00 pm on friday. Yep, I work until 5:30! YIKES... Well it seams as if my employer wants me at that movie... I am kinda excited, I will be meeting Jan tomorrow for the 4:00 show (I now have the ticket in my hand :) THANK YOU Jan and THANK YOU Barry, Tucker and Kayle for covering for me tomorrow, I owe you!

last weekend we were invited to go wheelin with friends. we went out past lil sahara sand dunes to cherry creek (all west of nephi). we had SO much fun. kelly and brenda were SO generous, they brought all their wheelers and shared with us. we wheeled for miles and miles. we found old rock cabin ruins, old abandoned mines and lots of wheeler trails.

we 4 wheeled and 2 wheeled (motorcycles) for hours and hours. we had a big bbq, a huge bon fire and great company. we circled our trailers like a wagon train, we are extremely sunburned and our bodies are SO sore! regan enjoyed both 4 wheels and 2, i stayed with 4 wheels. we got stuck in sand, and one of us got stuck in cow poop mud and flung it all over their back side... (you can prob figure out who by the hard to see pic.) ha ha ha

thank you so much to our friends kelly and brenda for the invite. can't wait for the next trip :)

Zions... Amazing as always

Regan and I were so fortunate this last weekend. We took a trip to Zions and A Dream Come True! We visited Lisa and Girls at their cabin, (we missed you Craig :( , not only were we fortunate we were VERY fortunate, We spent the weekend with not only the Janes family Lisa, Alicia, Cara, and Emily, but also Cristin (we missed you Pete and Matt) and 4 of her kiddos, Landon, Maddie, Ben and Anna, and Darin and Elisa, Miriam and Bub! It was a delightful mini reunion. (I would love to share the beautiful pictures I would have taken if I would have had the camera that was safely where I wouldn't forget it, in the picnic basket that I for sure would take to Zions with me, the one at home in the trailer :)

I have to say from personal experience the weekend was amazing, that is until the Stomach Flu hit. ( Bub, Miriam, Elisa, Alicia, Lisa and me, BLAH) That had to be the longest and worse 5 hr drive home in history. Poor Regan, he has the love and patience of a saint. THANK YOU BABE YOU WERE SO SWEET!!!!
I hope nobody else got it!!!!

Thanks again to Lisa and Craig for sharing their beautiful home with us. We love you.
(We missed the rest of the Ray Family, Mom and Dad, James and Shauna).

We however also got to see that trip... Tyler, Lindsey, Bailey, Kennedy and Tucker and........ Miss Amanda Dawn... We surprised her :)

THE OFFICE...

Regan and I have a room in our basement that is suppose to be our office. It started out with all the right things. 2 x 4's, electicity,drywall, texture, paint, trim, and carpet. Thats right... Until you realize there is a BIG problem. I installed the light and light switch.... Cool it works.

Well now that, that's done I installed all the plugs. Wow this electric thing is easy! So exciting lets plug in the vacuum and get this show on the road. Why doesn't the vacuum work?

Well I had a friend come and look at the plugs to make sure I installed them right. Ok they are installed right, so whats the prob? The electritian left the wires hanging and the drywall guy drywalled over the wires that are not connected to anything!!!! They said I would have to knock a hole in the wall that I had faux finished to look like sueade. (its Regans cowboy room :) That's not going to happen. So with out plugs it has turned into a PILE IT ROOM. Pile it here, pile it there.

Well it's been _ years (i don't even want to say it) . And we are both so tired of it. So we are getting everything together. The last couple of weeks we have been building shelves and can racks for our utlity closet off the "office". It feels so good to get things organized, we still have a ways to go, but I think we will turn this room into an office, real soon.

We have a Chair to re-upholster in a faux leather, Ill be doing that at the shop, fun. However we still have the electricity thing to address, the original electritian moved, he was in my ward, so I guess we will have to hire someone to come fix the prob. I've talked to a few and they say they can do it without knocking a hole in my wall. When the project is finished I will post a picture of the finished "OFFICE".

My away from home job Monday - Friday,
I am lucky enough to be able to work with my dad, We have an upholstery business and one of things that we do is the interiors of high performance boats. One of my responsibilities are to do the computer graphic designs, and the patterns for the graphics on these boats. (I take the graphic on the side of the boat and duplicate it into our pattern program on the computer). This week I got my first cover on a boating magazine (one of the boats I did the graphics on), however the cover and the article isn't all about me(and that's fine by me) its about the company that builds the boat, Hallett Boats. Any way its kinda exciting :)
The engine cover on the back of the boat is the graphic done on this boat... We do it in vinyls and it gets pieced together like a quilt. It kinda a cool thing to do for work :)

I have an AWESOME family...

My husband and daughters did some planning and put togther a little birthday bash for my 30th (he he he) birthday. This is the LOVELY invitation they sent out... Got to love it.

Lots of family and good friends came by last Saturday.

My sweet sisters in Maryland and Missisippi (along with their families) sent some beautiful flowers. Very spring time for the winter wonderland we are in right now. Thank You So Much!

My children (some had a little help from Regan) bought me this cute little purse.I love Giraffes, there is a story I won't bore you with it. But they have a sweet spot in my heart! (and I love Dooney & Bourke)... Thanks to all that showed me so much love and friendship. All my daughters were here to celebrate with me and that made my day! Thanks Babe and our Girlys I love you so much!!!!

November 2nd

Happy Anniversary Babe!!!!!

(I'm a bit late but only because we were off together celebrating our 5th anniversary)

Regan is my own special blessing from a very loving Heavenly Father. I am so thankful for this loving, compassionate, handsome, romantic man. How could I be anything but grateful to my Father in Heaven for bringing this man into my life... HE COMPLETES ME!

We left home on Thursday Nov 1st with our trailer in tow. We headed to So. California to make a boat interior delivery (for work) and then we turned right around and went back to Las Vegas to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We got to the Oasis RV Resort around 9pm on (our anniversary) Nov.2nd. We celebrated with dinner, homemade taco's and salsa (yummy).

We were very fortunate that while we were in Vegas, Cameron (18) was playing in the Las Vegas Invitational (marching band competition), so we were able to watch the Mountain Crest Marching Band perform in competition. There were bands from Nevada, California, & Montana... Mountain Crest went to the finals, 12 bands competed and in fact Utah bands won the top 5 awards... Mountain Crest won 5th place... Congrats

While in Vegas we also celebrated by going to see "The Phantom of the Opera"... WOW!!!! That was amazing. We really enjoyed the show and the time together. We were so lucky, we had 3rd row seats and it was spectacular! We also had lunch before the show at an (Authentic)Italian restaurant in the Venetian. It was surprisingly tasty(I am so Americanized...) Great idea babe, Thanks

We also went to "New York, New York" and road the Roller Coaster... I laughed the whole time... I love roller coasters!

Oh and we had a late dinner at "Toby Keith's, "I Love That Bar and Grill"... Really good food, lots of it and probably the loudest restaurant I have ever been in, It got louder when the live band started to play. We loved it!!!! (We really are not big gamblers, but we did hit the big 5cent slots, Regan left $13 ahead! You go Babe!)

The Harvest

It has finally started...Tomorrow these beauties will be SALSA! So excited... I don't like my zucchini to get very big, but... I lifted a leaf and surprise...ONE HUGE ZUCCHINI! any way, a few onions, and jalapenos(oh and I put shredded zuchini in my salsa as a filler, YUMMY) and Abracadabra.. SALSA

Party our house! Bring some chips and well supply the salsa. : )

(hopefully we will get another harvest of tomatoes about the same size, still lots of green tomatoes left on the plants)

Garden Update

September....

Well our gardens days are numbered... The final harvest is just around the corner. The pumpkin leaves (one of my favorite parts of the garden) are starting to die back. And the pumpkins are turning a beautiful orange. (this is actually 1 of 2 pumpkins that have not turned orange). We have about 10 to 12 pumpkins in our patch...

The tomatoes are scaring me, there are more green tomatoes than red ones, I hope we get our years storage of salsa! We would miss our salsa...

Our corn is a bit starchy but the important part is the corn stalks will make AWESOME fall decorations. Can't hardly wait for fall... My favorite time of year.

Our peppers are doing awesome. I have been sharing jalapenos like crazy, and still have lots to harvest. This year we tried a new pepper, Tabasco pepper... Really a pretty plant.

We also planted 2 Birdhouse gourd plants, HOLY COW they have taken over the neighborhood. They will be harvested soon, then we will hang them to dry, and then we will be making birdhouses... How fun, custom painted birdhouses, any requests????Well the garden has been fun this year, we have enjoyed squash, zucchini and yellow. We have had bell peppers, green, red and yellow. We have shared lots of cucumbers. We grew cantaloupe, about 12, 1 was really tasty, 1 really nasty and the other ripened way to fast (while we were at Bear Lake over Labor Day weekend)... Better luck next time : ) Our hot peppers are HOT! Corn starchy, tomatoes have made some tasty fresh salsa, (small but yummy batches). We planted a tee pee of green beans (scarlet runner) really fun and pretty, NO BEANS. We planted a trellis of Blue Lake green beans, BEAUTIFUL green, full leaves, NO BEANS... GO figure, again better luck next year. All and all it has been fun, I'm getting a bit tired of watering and I'm ready for the Harvest.

End of July Garden Update...

Wow, we have tons of green goin on!!!! The birdhouse gourd vines have busted out of their garden box, in fact they are creeping across our next door neighbors grass (they said they don't mind : )but that's about it green... no gourds yet... Our corn is getting taller, our squash is squashing, lots of yellow squash and zucchini, our cucumbers are a plenty, we have about 16 cantaloupe babies, green bean vines everywhere, no green beans though. Our tomatoes are finally starting to grow fruit, its just been way to hot... Some said it would not happen but... WE GREW ARTICHOKES : )

Cantaloupe in the front, growing wild and into the tomatoes and herb garden... green beans growing up the trellis, corn and tomatoes...

Birdnest gourds, they have a really soft minky leaf... the neighbor kids love to rub it, so do I...

The Pumpkin Patch... The rock wall you see was built with rocks from Dad Ray's house, thank you, I love having pieces of my family around me : )

WHAT A WONDERFUL FAMILY!!!

Last week we were so blessed to attend "The Ray Reunion".

We had the family reunion at a very special place this year. Our VERY SWEET sister Lisa and her VERY SWEET husband Craig, hosted our Reunion at there home in Zion's Ponderosa.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOUR HOME IS AMAZING

Regan and I took our trailer with us to help with sleeping quarters. Our little home away from home. Regan, Vanessa, Lindsey, Tyler, Bailey and Kennedy slept in the trailer. Danielle wanted to sleep in the house with her cousins, and so she did : )

We had such a good time... It is so sad that we don't all live close, but how wonderful that most could attend... All the Byron and Cheryl Ray children and their spouses were there. Regan and Vanessa, Lisa and Craig, Cristin and Pete, Shauna and James, and Darin and Elisa. All families had all their children there as well, with the exception of US... Regan and Vanessa were missing 3 of their children, I guess that's what happens when they grow up!!!! Cameron(18) made different plans (EFY), Jessica (27)had no more vacation time left and could not get off work :( and Amanda(23) also had to work... We missed you!!!!!

Garden Shappin UP...

End of June Garden update... Things are growing, Bell Peppers of all colors, Peas, Birdhouse Gourds, Indian corn,cucumbers, zucchini, yellow squash, pumpkins, HOT peppers 3 kinds, tomatoes, sweet corn, green beans, cantaloupe and artichokes(I'm not sure if they will produce but they are fun)... then also our herb garden, thanks Dad Ray for the transplants, they have all lived so far...

We are hoping to have our grass in by September, Maybe the patio will be in also, and maybe it will have to wait til next year... The BBQ I bought Regan for Fathers Day is waiting for the patio to be done... (I have to admit Fathers Day was the excuse, I wanted the BBQ :) he he he

Last Minute Trip to Lake Havasu, Arizona

Regan and I made a Upholstery Run to Lake Havasu, we didn't stay to long though... At 9:00 pm Sunday night we went for a walk by the London Bridge and the temp was 108 degrees... Way to HOT. We delivered the Boat Seats at 6:00 am and the temp was 99 degrees, they expect the temp to be 125 degrees on July 4th... HOW DOES ANYONE LIVE IN THAT???

On our way home we went to Hoover Damn, We were thinking maybe a Ray Reunion 2009 here at Lake Mead, We can ride over the suspension bridge they are building over the damn... HOLY COW, hopefully you will be able to see the pilings they have started... Look at the little skinny sticks that are going to hold this bridge up... Check it out at: www.hooverdambypass.org/ most amazing that we can do things like this. We walked around the Damn it was only 114 degrees there... Crazy Hot, but Regan and I got to spend 2 full days together just us, that doesn't happen to often and I cherish all the time we spend together, even if it was hotter than you can even believe !!!!

I love America... I thought this would be easy, but I looked around my house and I have a ton of Red, White, Blue but is it AMERICANA????

My husband loves anything cowboy, I gave him this bronze statue for Christmas one year. Cowboys are Americana, I think... I have several Americana baskets, stars and all... But is it Americana???Sorry about the flash, This is a picture that says Americana, but is it Americana???

This is am Amish piece quilt that was given to me by my very dear friend in California, Frankie Lawrence. She went to Pennsylvania where her husband grew up, she knew I was fascinated by the Amish, She was going to get me a quilt for my bed until she found out she would have to take out a second mortgage on her home to buy it... I love my quilt, but is it Americana???I have a lot of antiques here and there but I'm not sure if they are Americana...

This has got to be as Americana as it gets! I love the American flag, I fly it all the time, I love this country and I love being an AMERICAN... Yeah I think its all Americana, through and through...

Home Sweet Home away from Home...

Here is our lovely Home away from home.... Not quite the same as the Jane's but we are having a blast, we can't wait to share at the family reunion...(please excuse the BB stand, in high wind it crashes over and we have had storms the last few days).

Memorial Day weekend we took off with my parents and went to Yellowstone. We had a blast!My cute little Mom and Dad

Buffalo... Lots of Buffalo, up close and personal... It was a happy trip, My Dad LOVES Buffalo.

Just outside of the Park in West Yellowstone, there is a place called Bear Country, its like a zoo... It was fun to see the bears, they were very playful while we were there... They are pretty cute and so is...

Regan :) Love you babe... Oh and look at the couch they had at Bear Country...This couch is huge, that's a door on the left!!!!

Friday June 8,2007 (I need to be better on my posting dates... Late again!)

My favorite color I would have to say is Country Red... Regan added Red Shutters to our house last summer... I love them. This year I believe I will paint the door the same Red.
However in looking around my home I have a ton of Green as well, including a huge part of my home... The Carpet
Most of the accents are Red and Green... I must say its pretty country around here!
So add 1 more for Green!!!

I'm a little slow this week... ok I'm slow every week!!!!

How lucky can a person be!!! I got a new purse and wallet at the Fossil outlet in Las Vegas an few weeks ago and my purse is actually clean... Well kindaI buy really little purses cuz I fill whatever size I have!!!

My wallet only has the main necessities... Utah Drivers License, Debit Cards, and COSTCO (I love Costco...) I don't go to often cuz I spend way to much money, I usually send Regan he doesn't spend as much as I do and he sticks to the list!...

My little purse has a zipper pouch on the back with a little organizer in it... Pen has a place, pictures, (the one showing is my hot husband and me), Zoo pass, National Park pass, and other important things...

The contents of the purse itself are, how boring is this... Wallet, weekly to do list (I'm behind), lemon butter cuticle cream (yum it smells wonderful), lip gloss-spearmint, and in my case the very important TIDE PEN...

BOY AM I GLAD IT WAS CLEAN!!!!

Last Tuesday my mom and I left after work to go pick up Lindsey, Bailey and Kennedy in Cedar City... Then off to meet my sisters in Las Vegas. Tamara has a time share and was kind enough to share it with all us girls. Jessica flew in to meet us on Wed. afternoon, Amanda got there Wed night. We had a really nice time. Tamara spent lots of hours in the pool with ALL the kiddos... 6 kids under 5. Shes a trooper.

We really didn't do anything but veg... It was great

We went to the Outlets shopping, We shopped and shopped til we completely dropped (Kidding, NOT SO MUCH)

There is a carousel at the Outlets, yeah the kids rode it about 20x's each, when it stopped some of them started to cry.

And like the camera person I am (not 1 photo taken) my camera never got un-packed.

We were there til Friday afternoon.

My mom went home with Jennifer Thursday night (late) when Jenny's 4 month old came down with a fever that ended up being an ear infection and strep throat. (POOR LITTLE GUY)

On our way home we were able to stop and see Amanda's new townhouse, She closed escrow a week ago and is moving in this next weekend. She is really excited.

Jessica got to come home with me and spend Friday, Saturday and Mama's Day with us. Sat we got to go do a bit of shopping (what were we thinking????) Regan, Jess and I went to the Zoo to see the White Alligator. (I remembered my camera) This gator is the coolest thing! It looks like it's been painted with "GLOW-IN-THE-DARK" paint. They are not albino, they are a genetic misfit, there are only 10 in the world.

Today we took the REALLY long, scenic route home... We decided to go to Zion's, then we thought "lets go fine Craig and Lisa's house!!!! Well we couldn't find it. Several dirt roads and if you look close, Turkey's, later we stopped at the Ponderosa Resort and called Craig from there (we had no cell coverage)... He gave us the code and directions to the house.

It is amazing, love the cabinets, love the deck, love it ALL!!!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL GUYS, we are so excited for you...

Only one question...

ARE YOU RENTING IT OUT ALREADY??? There is a van in the driveway and music on the inside, Doors locked and no answer????

All did look well, we couldn't see any life form inside.

We are so excited to spent time with you and the family for our "RAY REUNION" Thank You... We can hardly wait! We send our LOVE to you Craig and Lisa.

Today we went to Cedar City to party with Bailey!

The party was suppose to be at the park however due to cold cold weather it turned into a house party... 15 kiddo's and several adults.

This here is a 5 year old "Spanking Machine" it was such a great hit that all the kids wanted to take turns getting spanked... GO FIGURE! Kids are so funny... Tyler told them they had to wait til their birthday parties :)

Kennedy was full of smiles for grandma, and she was loving pin the tail on the donkey...

It took me all week to decide on what to spend my V-$100. (I'm not sure if that is good or bad).

Well I decided I would go out and buy a WOOD ARBOR for our back yard. I have a metal one at the entrance to our garden, and I would rather it be wood. Oh well... SOMEDAY : )

Wonderful Weekend

On Friday Regan picked up Danielle and we met at Pier One Imports, couldn't help myself, I bought two reed/oil fragrance bottles. They have tons there all kinds of flavors, and only $12.00 each...

Then we had a great dinner at Outback, bummer for Danielle, she stopped on her way and her Mom bought her 2 hamburgers, french fries and a frosty... She shared a little steak, Outback is her favorite... BIG BUMMER !!!! Then Regan was off to work for the night... :(

Saturday morning Conference was great, I really enjoy listening to the words our church leaders are inspired to talk to us about... Just amazing...

In the afternoon we listened to some of conference on the radio on our way to SLC, we went to hear Cameron compete in a Winter Drum Line competition... Mountain Crest took 1st place... !!!! Good job Cam and the rest of the Drum Line...

On April 13th is the State Championship at Mountain Crest if anyone would like a real treat, It's pretty cool. Call for time and address if you want to go...

While we watched and listened to Conference on Sunday, Danielle and I made her Mom a Birthday present, Good job yellie...

She does a pretty good job sewing with a little help... (she didn't like doing the blanket stitch so I helped with that)... I hope her Mom likes it and appreciates all the work put into it...

Last week Elisa TAGGED me and challenged me to list 6 random things in my life, and 6 things that I'm happy about right now. Here goes...

Random

1. I really love plaques with sayings on them, I saw one not long ago that I laughed about, I liked it, however I am here to tell you-

The Hokey Poky is "NOT" what its all about !!!!!

2. Christmas is my favorite holiday, Halloween is a really close second... REALLY CLOSE. I even have a Halloween Village, but like my Christmas Village (quite large) and my Easter Village, my Halloween Village has only been displayed 1 time in the last 6 years. (I don't have the room in this house).

3. Cooking is one of my favorite things to do - Cleaning up after myself cooking is my least favorite thing to do !!!!

4. I went to college at what was Ricks College - I only attended for one year, however I can NOT remember for the life of me EVER being in any classes except for my BOWLING CLASS... Is it even possible that I only went to my bowling class?? I'm sure I went to other classes, I remember going to other classes, just not being in any other classes... WHO THE HECK TAKES BOWLING IN COLLEGE ?

5. My sweet husband works so hard! He works his real job ( Utah State Parole and Probation Agent) any where from 40 to 50 hours a week - On top of that he works a part time job that he works at least 20 hours a week. I have been know to be startled when he comes home and at times question "WHO ARE YOU"? I love Sundays, He is home all day- House rule is at least 1 full day a week off! What a mean wife :) I LOVE YOU BABE

6. I work with my dad - We have an Upholstery Business. I do the books, sew, wood work, and yes upholstery. We do the interiors on new high performance boats. We also do cars, snowmobile seats, motor cycle seats, chars,and plane interiors - but mostly boat interiors... AND I LOVE POWER TOOLS!

Kinda weird huh???

HAPPY

1. I have bee doing lots of hand work lately - Punch Needle, embroidery, quilting, and applique... Mostley because in the evening I have alot of free time because of my RANDOM # 5.

2. My daffodils and tulips are coming up ... I love all the new life spring brings... oh wait it suppose to snow tomorrow, oh well I love that too!

3. I'm boiling chicken bones right now as I type so I can make Chicken soup tomorrow.

YUM YUM... Everyone is invited :)

4. Cell phones make me happy... My husband and I can talk to each other anytime... Well we can communicate. We text message alot. It makes me smile when I get sweet text messages from him :)

5. My fridge works again : ) That really makes me happy. Question expected... (Yep Ice Cream and melted Ice all over the place)

6. I have a new special brush so that I can clean under my fridge and not burn it up again... (if you don't know, I did'nt, You are suppose to clean the coils under your fridge every 3 months!!!! EEEEEEK

I am so excited to see that Lisa is going to be doing a little Punch Needle project,

it is so fun and really pleasing to the eye.

I'm going to be making a frame tomorrow, I think something primitive and black will go well.

The one thing I always have with me is a basket (Longaberger),

as a purse, to carry primary stuff, needle work whatever it may be...

Oh wait my husband would say "does anyone need 200+ baskets?"

March 16 - 18

we had a green day on

st. patricks day...

friday i met tyler, lindsey and the kiddies at the salina exit to pick up the kids for the weekend... (tyler and lindsey ran a 1/2 marathon in moab on saturday.)

we spent saturday, st. patricks day doing green things (a few anyway)...

when we went to cedar city for kennedy's b-day, bailey and i read "the little red hen" and we decided that when they can to visit grandma and papa, we would make bread. and so we did... green bread, YUM YUM

we also made shamrock cookies with green frosting. (bailey let grandma and papa keep cookies, grandma gave them to papa :)

kennedy did'nt care much about anything green, she just walked around, and sat around looking cute! we love you so much, they were so good.

Happy Birthday to my Sweet Husband

I love you Babe!

This year I wanted to do something different than to buy Regan some COWBOY BOOTS... I secretly made Regan this cuddly quilt. I hope he was suprised, this quilt was made with so much LOVE...

I hope my sweet husband always remembers how much he is LOVED and how much he COMPLETES me...

(and thank heaven he is 46 now, I was getting tired of hearing how old I am, at least the gap is closed for the next 10 months :) he he he

Oh yea!!!!! Kennedy is 1... We spent the weekend in Cedar City for Kennedy's 1st Birthday. Her party was Feb 24 (Her Birthday Feb 27) Spite the fact that I got really sick and stayed that way for a week, we had a grand time.
